My name is Steven Wells and I offer face-to-face therapy sessions to individuals and couples in south London. I do not offer online therapy or supervision sessions. I currently do not offer supervision to trainee therapists. I can explore the possibility of online working for academic consultation and support on an individual basis.

I am a Doctor of Psychotherapy by Professional Studies (DPsych) - This degree was awarded by Middlesex University in conjunction with Metanoia Institute.

I hold a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Contemporary Person-centred Psychotherapy

I am a Registered and Senior Accredited member of the BACP. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist Practitioner with the General Psychotherapy Council (GPsyC). This means that by choosing to work with me you have the added benefit of knowing that I have been deemed to meet the BACP and GPsyC standards for a competent, ethical and independent practitioner. I am also covered by professional indemnity Insurance. 

In addition, I hold a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Jungian Analytical Psychology from a Contemporary Relational Perspective, awarded by Metanoia Institute.

I work on either an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. In addition to my clinical work, I am also a highly experienced trainer - with over 30 years experience of working with trainee counsellors.

I also work as an Associate Research Supervisor at Metanoia Institute. supporting doctoral candidates on the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy by Professional Studies (DCPsych) programme.
